Bio

Jennifer Dorre is an accomplished turnaround specialist, known for driving and implementing transformational change at top tier corporations including Victoria’s Secret, David Yurman, Ovando, and Blue Nile. Ms Dorre is specifically sought after by CEO’s and COO’s on complex product development projects when there are issues with resources and timelines due to gaps in operational planning. Smaller business owners seek her corporate experience to help them with long term planning and building operational infrastructure to scale their business.

Areas of focus include business process mapping with an emphasis on product design and development, end-to-end project management, and cross functional communication strategies. She’s adept at quickly assessing root causes of operational inefficiencies and providing strategic action plans and effective communication channels to resolve those issues. Her reputation is one of being able to influence, guide, and develop cross functional teams to make scalable and sustainable process improvements.

  • At Victoria’s Secrets, managed launch of new shapewear business, producing $50 million in annual sales growth.
  • At David Yurman, increased on-time deliveries by 56% by spearheading process, communication, and calendar improvements.
  • At Ovando, helped company to realize a 13% increase (+$520,000) in gross margin dollars, 8% gain in gross profit.
  • At Blue Nile, built out company master calendars, developed, and implemented, concept to market processes.

Jennifer holds a Six-Sigma green belt certification from Villanova University, is a licensed Project Management Professional (PMP), and a graduate of West Virginia University. As a graduate of Music, and a professionally trained singer, she dedicates her volunteer time to supporting arts and culture in NYC.  She is a current board member, former President, of The Blue Hill Troupe, a non-profit organization which brings high-quality theater performances to New York City audiences while raising money for New York City based charities.  She also serves on the advisory board for WVU’s College of Creative Arts, lending her professional expertise to recruitment, fundraising, budgeting, and operational planning.  She currently leads her own consulting LLC in New York City where she resides.
